The Gothia Cup is the world's largest and most international youth tournament. Each year around 1700 teams from over 80 nations take part and 4500 games are played over 110 pitches.

The first Gothia Cup was held in 1975 having been founded by Swedish football clubs BK Häcken and GAIS alongside a local newspaper. Over the last 48 years over a million players from a total of 147 countries have travelled to Sweden to take part in this prestigious tournmanent!

This year, EMC Academy will be heading to Gothenburg in July with our fantastic Under 18 squad - we cannot wait!
