‘Tunbridge Wells based EMC Academy continued their impressive run of form in 2020 by taking maximum points from their double header against Chichester.

The team who play in the AOC Regional League now have a good chance of finishing second in their debut season at this level.

Jamie McCloy, (three), scored the goals against Chichester as EMC won 3-1 and 2-0. EMC have only lost three games all year, one of which was being knocked out of the national cup, by the previous champions.

‘Having won the Kent League three years out of the last 4 we decided it would be best to move the lads into a higher level.’ Manager Henry Muggeridge said.

‘It was a brave thing to do considering we are mostly first years, but the boys have really stepped up.’

EMC have also found time to visit the famous Marbella Football Centre this season, playing a host of matches against Spanish sides.

‘We want to give chances to local young players, I would recommend anyone who thinks they have the talent to go all the way to get in touch about our programme, we are always on the lookout’ added Muggeridge.
