Our Scholars squad 1 kicked off their SCL League season on Wednesday with a home game to Barking FC.

Having lost to Barking at the back end of last season, the lads were well aware of what a tough opening day fixture they faced, but they stuck at the task and ended up winning 5-4 in an absoloute thriller!

With 20 minutes left on the clock we found ourselves 3-2 down, but the lads showed great fighting spirit to take all 3 points.

Goals from Chakarov (2), Mayo, Simmons and Walker helped the lads get over the line.

Our squad 2 kick off their season tomorrow at home to Maidstone.
