Our U19 Scholarship programme faced two tough tests in their first round cup draws.

Squad 1 faced Met Police, who led us 1-0 with 10 minutes remaining. Charlie Larter scored from the spot to take the game to extra time before captain Reece Anderson smashed home a winner in the final period of extra time from long range.

Squad 2 travelled to AUFC, also falling behind early; this time by 2 goals, however a hat-trick from Omar Abbas put us ahead going into the final stages. A last gasp equaliser from AUFC took us to penalties, where our squad 2 national cup journey ended for the season.

Lessons were learnt across both squads.

Next week we travel to West Ham United Foundation in the SCL League and Aldershot in the Tactic league.
