An outstanding performance from our Scholars squad 1 yesterday saw the lads bounce back from last week's defeat to West Ham, to beat Dartford 4-1.

Goals from: Abbas, Larter 2 and Joy helped us to get the result our performance deserved.

Academy manager Henry Muggeridge had this to say on the performance: 'We are so proud of the lads, who have shown great character to bounce back from last week's result. I am absoloutely delighted for Alex Joy particularly, who grabbed his first goal of the campaign. Alex has huge amounts of potential, making his Crowborough AFC first team debut last week, and has been playing really well and working hard during all sessions, so its great to see him get a reward for all the extra hours hes been putting in. Next week we take on Whitstable and it's Jonny's birthday on the same day so we will be hoping to get him a result!!!'
