An outstanding performance from our Scholars squad 2 saw them pick up their first win of the season at home to Ebbsfleet United in the Tactic League.

Goals from Joy (2), Abbas and Walker saw us over the line for a deserved 3 points.

Academy manager Henry Muggeridge had this to say on the result: 

'I am thrilled to see these boys pick up 3 points today. This group work their socks off day in day out, and have been really unlucky in previous weeks- we've played better than we did today and lost! Two weeks ago we travelled to Milton Keynes in the national cup and lost on penalties, but since that the boys have been grafting away and today they got their rewards.'

Next week squad 2 travel to League 2 Sutton United.
