We were extremely proud to see U19 Scholars Zead and Tristan get called up to train with Henry's England 6 a side squad this week. Both lads have been oustanding since joining our post 16 college programme, and are going from strength to strength with daily training.

Here's what Henry had to say on the call ups:

'I have been monitoring the progress of these two closely over the past few months and have been really impressed by their development. Both lads came into our session Sunday and adapted really well to the fast tempo in a tight area. It will do both lads the world of good to continue to come and train with the national squad and get exposure to that level of football. Although the World Cup is less than 12 months away, I am looking for players for the long term and hope to be able to give more youngsters opportunities like this in years to come.'

Both Tristan and Zead will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of EMC Scholar Reece Anderson, who made his international debut under Henry last summer in Croatia.
