12-1 Scholars squad 1 win

Wednesday saw us take on SEFA in our quest for silverware.

The game started with the boys on the front foot, letting off 5 shots on goal in the opening 2 minutes. The inevitable eventually happened on 5 minutes as Massood was played in 1 on 1 and delicately chipped the oncoming keeper.

From there, it was one way traffic for the remaining 40 minutes of the game, seeing us convert a further 7. The pick of the bunch being Joy’s beautifully curled free kick into the top right hand corner.

However, the home side did catch us sleeping and caught us on the counter attack leaving Mepham 2 vs 1 where the opposition striker finished neatly into the far corner.

HALF TIME
1-8

The second half began in a similar manner to the first, with the lads pressuring from the whistle.

Cook managed to slot past the oncoming keeper to continue the trend of the first half.

A further 3 goals in the second half meant the boys ran away with a 12-1 win.

A clinical performance but as perfectionists, we know the boys still have gears to go up!!
