Saturday 13th June 2020, will go down in the history of EMC Academy as
we witnessed a player who progressed through our Academy, make their professional debut.

Aged just 16 years and 307 days, Motiejus Burba made his debut for Lithuanian Premier League side, Zalgiris in a 1-0 win.

Motiejus had already made EMC history by playing for his country at U17 level, undoubtedly setting an example for all our young players. He is a shining example of how if you believe in yourself and work hard, it really does pay off!

Well done, Motiejus! We are unbelievably proud of you. Keep up the hard work!
