We are delighted to announce the launch of EMC Pro, a brand-new football academy opening in Maidstone on 21st September 2026.
Based at Cornwallis Academy, EMC Pro will welcome both boys and girls from Years 2–11, providing an exciting new opportunity for young footballers across the local area.
EMC Pro offers a unique training environment with three distinct pathways, allowing players to find the route best suited to their individual development:
• Development Pathway
• Elite Pathway
• Bounce Back Programme – specifically designed for players currently in, or recently released from, the professional game.

Our pathways have been created to support players at different stages of their footballing journey and help them take the next step.
At EMC Pro, we strongly believe:

The new centre will boast an impressive team of current and former professional players, managers and experienced coaches, including:
• Jonny Elwood – Glacis United First Team Manager, Gibraltar Premier League & UEFA A Licensed Coach
• Henry Muggeridge – Former Bristol City player, England 6-a-side Manager and Rukkas FC Head Coach in the Ballerz League
• Jack Midson – Former AFC Wimbledon, Stevenage and Oxford United player

• Nicky Southall – Former Bolton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest and Gillingham player
EMC Pro also has a number of exciting guest coaches and mentors who will visit the centre, including:
• Stan Sargent – Gillingham FC
• Lew Carey – Former Bristol City, Bromley and Dorking goalkeeper
• Sean Scannell – Former Crystal Palace player and Republic of Ireland international

Professional scouts from a variety of clubs will also attend sessions throughout the season, ensuring that players have opportunities to gain exposure to more than just one professional club.
EMC PRO isn’t about finding finished players. It’s about identifying potential, developing it and creating genuine opportunities. Whether your child is already attracting academy interest, is a standout grassroots player, has previously been released by an academy, or simply hasn’t yet had the opportunity to be seen, EMC PRO provides an environment designed to help ambitious young footballers take their next step.
